What do we do for our puppies & dogs to make a difference? The inside scoop.....

Each of our dogs are carefully selected  for our program. When we look at a pup we consider many aspects. Their health testing, generations of health testing, pedigree as a whole, conformation (teeth, fur, build, etc), calm temperament, and overall the whole package.

When selecting from a breeder we look for a lot to, how are they cared for, and how many toxins they are putting in them. What we want to strive for is a less toxic line of goldens. This will take us generations, we know that. But we are willing to put the effort in. So we are now teaming with other holistic golden breeders to get exactly what we need. When searching for a breeder we always request an unvaccinated puppy to join our program, hoping they will allow us to have this choice. I'm crazy right? This is super unheard of. But Hey! Its okay to be different. Upon my research I have found that vaccine ingredients can and do modify genetics. The genetic modifications and toxins pass down for generations as well. This in turn is creating an abundance of dogs with health issues. This is playing a roll in cancer, autoimmune disorders, dysplasia and the list goes on. In the end, what we are trying our best to achieve in our program is ridding dysplasia, lessening the chance of cancer, and prolonging their life. THIS IS POSSIBLE contrary to others beliefs. Just takes a lot of time and research. So what we are doing is hoping to find like minded individuals to adopt our puppies to give them the best quality life with limited toxins as possible.

Once we choose a pup for our program we do a few things, first vitamin c protocol, detox from environmental toxins, and feed quality food. We then do prelims between 4-6 months of age. This will tell us if the puppy is worth keeping in the program or need to be rehomed as a pet. We strive for the top pennhip scores. We want to breed the best so we need the best.

Once the puppy passes these health testings, we wait, during this time basic training, teach manners, and continue healthy living, we typically like to show our dogs as it is a fun thing for us to do together, and an awesome experience. But I will be different and say this, if you study the breed standard you can breed sound dogs with out showing, you can look at the dog and see its flaws by the way it stands, by how their bite is, by their head shape, snout, coat, pigment, overall conformation, etc

Once the pup reaches breeding age we then re-test our dogs for our own data to see how much their hips have changed and confirm everything is good prior to breeding. Everything is kept for research purposes for the future of our program.

Once our dogs are breed ready we carefully select a stud to continue to better the breed. Her and the male are both detoxed prior to breeding. Once the boy is chosen and mating happens then we give mom everything she needs to grow healthy pups from her vitamin, to high doses of vitamin c, fish oil, to methyl folate (natural form of folic acid), and organic acv in her water (which we do for all our dogs).

Our dogs only get the best care, from the best quality water, food, vitamins, love, and anything their hearts desire.

A week prior to her due date we have a whelping area set up and ready for her to have pups at anytime with all our supplies at arms reach. We then patiently wait. Each of our girls get prenatal massages and extra extra lovins during their whole pregnancy to ensure she is very happy. Once she is ready she tells me to get in the box. I hand deliver each and every puppy so she can have a stress free birth. She is catered to with fresh RO water, and raw food. She also begins calcium after first pup is whelped.

Once all puppies are whelped I then sleep near the puppies till they are 2-3 weeks old, so if Momma or pups need me I can cater to their needs. Each puppy gets hand to toe stimulation from birth. We follow puppy culture for this. We begin nail clipping at 2 weeks old and do it weekly. This helps puppies get used to getting their nails clipped with out fuss, and used to people handling their paws. Which in the end makes it easier on the owner.

Once puppies reach 3-4 weeks old we begin litter training. About 3 1/2-4 weeks we introduce TLC dog food softened with RO water.

Each puppy begins vitamin c beginning at 1 week or less, and continues to higher doses until they leave. (See our vitamin C protocol page for more info). Each puppy is given RO water with Organic ACV with Mother for immune boosting, an all natural cold pressed vitamin, probiotic, and Milk thistle for detoxing. (As you may know all Moms not only pass on great nutrients through breastmilk but they also pass toxins) so it is VERY important to detox your puppies so they have the best immune systems prior to going to their new homes.

We feed our puppies 4 different ways over their 8 weeks. First we begin shared feeding on a large tray for a couple days. We then switch to individual feedings in a feeding station, alternating with hand feeding from myself & the children, and also crate feeding to show the crate can be a fun place too. We do pet the pups often during feeding to help prevent recourse guarding/food aggression.

We introduce baths & blow dry approximately 4-6 weeks. Depending on if they get dirty. We do not believe in over bathing so they only get bathed if they get dirty. Each puppy will have had a minimum of 2-3 baths prior to leaving.

At 5-6 weeks depending on weather pups will go outside for the first time. We do slow exposure to germs and introduce them for short times multiple times a day and slowly increase. During this time we may use colloidal silver as an additional immune booster.

Once pups are 6 weeks we are now as of 2021 introducing crate training. We have always done intro to crate but have had requests on crate training and so we decided to add that to our program.

At 6-7 weeks old our puppies have two big events. Vet appointment where your puppy gets a head to toe check and fecal done. & Puppy party meet & greet where lunch is served, a short training class is held, and its time to meet the other families, pups, and pup parents. This is the day you get to choose your pup!

At 6-7 weeks old your pup also gets to do adventure walks around the farm (pending weather) and see a cow, goats, donkey, chickens, ducks, and more! This helps build their immune system, because as you may know, a farm is full of germs. But not only that its also great for helping to ease their anxiety of meeting new creatures (:

At 8 weeks your pup is ready to be picked up. At this time they typically know some basic commands, sit for attention, 90% potty trained, familiar with the crate, knows not to play bite (but may need to reteach with new kids) knows good eye contact, etc.

Each pup parent is 100% fully prepared at this point with an overload of research and information on pet health, immune boosting, training, what to purchase and more. Each pup parent has a super easy process with everything handed to them to have them ready and set for success. Our pups also come with a puppy pack with some of my favorite things & a training clicker!

As of 2021 we have transformed our back porch into two rooms: a whelping room & dog mud room. This is where all our puppies are now raised. This room is attached to our living room and kitchen so it is just another room with the door open so the pups can still hear and see the chaos of having kids and dogs to help desensitize them to noise. Pictures will be posted below. In the room the pups have their own air purifier to keep the air they breathe clean as well.

Our adult dogs ALL live IN our home with us as our family members. They have a dog door from our kitchen that leads to their mud room, and out to their large fenced in dog yard. Like said above our dogs get the best care from being insanely loved, spoiled and beyond. They survive on wholesome vitamins, & supplements, living a limited toxin environment (as natural as possible, except for things out of my control), detoxed regularly, only fed the best food & drinking quality RO water to ensure we are doing our part in their health. They are a bit spoiled (;

We encourage you to watch our YouTube videos to watch our birthing process, set ups and more videos to come!

Here are a few pictures of our new rooms!
